Unlock opportunity. Build partnerships. Deliver homes that matter.

As National Partnership Manager, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating McCarthy Stone’s growth by unlocking the full potential of our land portfolio through strategic partnerships. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role at the heart of our business - connecting land, funding, and delivery to enable increased housing supply across the UK.

We are looking for a partnership professional with the experience and credibility to provide a proactive, professional partnership management service. You will bring a strong track record of building and sustaining effective relationships with Housing Associations, Build-to-Rent providers, Homes England and other strategic partners, using these collaborations to bring sites forward efficiently, structure commercially sound agreements, and ensure developments are delivered with the right partners, in the right way.

You will have experience working nationally and collaboratively across Development, Land & Acquisitions, Planning and Commercial functions, with the ability to identify, negotiate and secure partnerships that align with strategic business objectives. Your background will enable you to influence land release decisions, funding strategies and the pace at which sites progress from opportunity through to delivery.

This role is suited to someone who combines strong commercial acumen with deep sector insight, including a clear understanding of housing policy and funding mechanisms. You will be confident representing the business externally as a credible, trusted long-term partner, while internally championing company values, supporting strong business performance, and contributing to high levels of customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

In short, you will bring the experience, judgement and relationships needed to shape partnerships that unlock land, enable delivery, and support McCarthy Stone’s mission to create high-quality homes and places that stand the test of time.

We will give you:

Financial:

  • Competitive salary + discretionary annual bonus
  • Company Car Allowance/Choice of Car
  • Company Pension Scheme
  • Life Assurance
  • Professional Subscriptions paid for

Lifestyle/Health & Wellbeing:

  • 24 days holiday (rising to 28 days) plus Bank Holidays
  • Hybrid working
  • 2 fully paid volunteering days per year (supported by the McCarthy Stone Foundation)
  • Health benefits such as Private Healthcare; Remote GP, 24/7 access to EAP Services (including counsellors and legal advisors) and eyecare voucher
  • Colleagues Benefit Booklet with a range of store offers discounts and promotions
  • Family Friendly Policies

Your Impact:

As National Partnership Manager, you will play a critical role in unlocking land, funding and delivery opportunities that directly support McCarthy Stone’s strategic growth ambitions. Your work will enable sites to come forward more efficiently, maximise the value of our land portfolio, and accelerate the delivery of high-quality homes through the right partnerships.

Operating nationally within our flexible hybrid model, you will work closely with Land & Acquisitions, Development, Planning, Commercial and Finance teams, providing partnership and funding expertise that informs smarter land release decisions and stronger commercial outcomes. Through trusted external relationships and a deep understanding of housing policy and funding mechanisms, you will help shape partnership strategies that stand up commercially and deliver long-term value.

What you will do:

You will lead the identification, development and management of strategic partnerships with Housing Associations, Build-to-Rent providers, Homes England and other funding partners, structuring and negotiating joint ventures, land disposals and funding arrangements that unlock sites and enable delivery.

Working collaboratively with internal teams, you will ensure opportunities are aligned with partner requirements, funding criteria and planning considerations, supporting the efficient progression of sites from opportunity through to delivery. Through robust governance, reporting and risk management, you will provide clear visibility of partnership pipelines, commercial outcomes and funding opportunities to senior stakeholders.

Externally, you will represent McCarthy Stone as a trusted and credible partner, building strong relationships with local authorities, partners and investors, and sharing insight and best practice to continuously improve partnership delivery across the business.

Why You Will Enjoy Working With Us
