McCarthy Stone are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join their team at their Butter Cross Court, Newport, Shropshire.

Salary: £11.25 per hour

This role is to help us grow our domestic and care services offer to our residents in Butter Cross Court. If you have care experience as well that would also be an advantage. If you drive then there is also the possibility of picking up relief hours at our estate in Tettenhall.

Hours:  9 hours a week to begin with

About the role:

As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping, of  our homeowner apartments,  their laundry service and cleaning  or the development’s communal areas. These include chaperoning homeowners to medical appointments, and/or other community related services, or simply offering social support. There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.

About you: You will have

  • A caring personality and the want to make a difference to people’s lives!
  • Experience in a customer care or service role within a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
  • Considerate, patient, and professional
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Be friendly and approachable
  • A hardworking diligent nature and good time keeping
